Davis Inotek Instruments, the largest network of

LabMaster Universal for calibration services at
several of its locations. The LabMaster Universal is
the world’s most accurate measurement system, as
exemplified by the latest installation at Davis
Inotek’s Somerset, PA facility. The accuracy of this
direct-read machine can be verified by observing the
documented 1-microinch repeatability test results.
Davis Inotek employs several models of Pratt and
Whitney Measurement Systems to provide unparalleled
calibration services to their customers, and
maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
Certified calibration capabilities that can be
attributed to the outstanding performance of Pratt
and Whitney equipment include: thread ring gages,
gage blocks, pipe thread plug gages, and just about
any other precision part. "An 80" Pratt and Whitney
Measuring Machine is used for calibration of long
dimensional items."
Fast, flexible calibrations are achieved
throughout the LabMaster’s ranges in internal
measurement (0.02 inches to 14 inches), and external
measurement (0 to 13 inches). Instrument error is
minimized with precision pneumatics and an
adjustable force system, resulting in an accuracy of
2 microinches. Using two lab-grade NIST gage blocks
to calibrate LabMaster takes less than one minute,
and the specialized Windows®-based control software
simplifies data collection and speeds up data entry.
